I bought my bag in 2014!

...and it is the most solid, rugged bag I've ever had the privilege to own. I am only now replacing it, and that's not because it broke. It has fit perfectly on every bus, train, and plane I've ever been on, is impervious to weather, and holds my work wares perfectly. The ONLY things I have to say that aren't in its favor is that it is hot in summer and leaves black stains on my ass in certain weather, which is a natural consequence of the materials that give it such durability.

I had to live out of this bag for two months and it has carried countless loads of my wares over the years. Given a choice I will never have another kind of backpack.

Durable Well made bag.

Well made durable and strong bag. It is really unique and is good to reuse waste. Made in USA is another plus.

great bag!

I found this bag searching for a backpack that was waterproof and made in the usa. It was a bonus to have it made from upcycled materials! It's very roomy and my ottolock fits perfectly in one if the two side pockets. I've haven't had the opportunity to test in the rain yet, but I'm pretty sure it will be fine. My bike is my "car" so I have already done plenty of grocery shopping and it holds a lot.
My only complaints are: the straps could be a little more padded, they feel almost crunchy like there's velcro inside and the other disappointing thing is that it went on sale for $30 less than what I paid the week after i bought it.

Been loving my 24L commuter bag. I really like the open compartment in the front for my ulock and small picnic tarp and the main compartment is huge. I managed to fit two country fried breakfast meals in denny's to-go boxes inside...if you know denny's containers, they are huge! Also copped the reflective ankle straps, awesome addition to my kit since I usually ride at night. Would definitely buy more gear from the Guru!
